Billy & Grover, Christmas Eve on Sesame Street

“Christmas Eve on Sesame Street” is the most wonderful Christmas tradition of my family. We used to listen to the cassette tape every Christmas Eve while we decorated the tree and wrapped presents. Then we acquired the DVD. And now we watch that.

So for your holiday enjoyment. Here’s Billy and Grover.

Making an appearance

So a while back Ryan and I got ambushed by reporter people when we went to go see our friends’ Jake and Sherrine’s company A Host of People perform at the Sidewalk Festival in Old Redford. You can tell we were ambushed because I’m making that ridiculous giggle that I always make during house speeches and Ryan is uncomfortable. Anyway, there we are on the internet. Apparently this comes up when I am googled.

It’s almost a new year, so it’s time for a new start.

I’ve had many online blogs in my internet history, starting from Livejournal, then a blog for exploring London, one for exploring grad school, and another one for my portfolio… but now it’s time to get a real life, “big girl,” website.

Many things are coming up for me in the new year. I’ve started looking for Ph.D. programs, I’ve started working for the Michigan Equity Theatre Alliance as the Interim Executive Director, I’m writing again, and I’m working on a new piece with theRUMPUSroom. It’s going to be a very busy, and very exciting, start of the year! I’m going to be keeping this blog and this website as a place for all things Amanda – personal reflection, things that inspire me, things that make me question, and of course updated CV and project information. Stay tuned!
